Through managing the challenges for accurate building performance modelling posed by a historic listed building, this project aimed to create new standards for environmental responsibility and approaches to building re-use and adaptability of the Manchester Town Hall.

This project allowed me to work with the team or architects and engineers currently working on the Manchester Town Hall refurbishment scheme. The primary focus for the project was on the relocation and adaptation of the current coroner's court, paying particular attention to the complex users and circulation of the programme. The atmospherical experiences for these users were crucial in such a sensitive programme.
