As part of the Profession Studies unit, we were given the opportunity to design our own architectural practice. Working in groups, we decided to think outside the box, reimagining the role of the Architect and enter a sector where architects are rarely utilised - Space.

The development of outer space is advancing rapidly, and as access continues to become less expensive and more frequent, the need for frameworks that can cater for the far-reaching impacts of such developments is becoming increasingly urgent. Historically, the design process within the space industry has been heavily engineer focused, resulting in an abundant of early design contributors to space projects. Plan_ET's aim was to offer architectural expertise into this sector, creating projects that consider the human requirements at every stage of the design process.
