As part of the Solar Decathlon competition, the brief asked us to design a future adaptable housing prototype, maintaining zero carbon performance, incorporating green space, and adapting to multiple oriented sites. Our approach to the zero-carbon brief was to design a prototype that can be tested alongside 2 different sites throughout the entire development of the project. This informed our design decisions and provided solutions to sites of different demographics, density, location and climate.
